Wait. Where do these pipes go?
As a testimony to our green buildingness. We have only generated 12 cubic yards of waste material. So far.
Coming soon in March 2015!
We were off for a couple of days as the truss company was “lost in space” as was part of our order. But bright and early this morning we started placing trusses.
So this weekend our church hosted a car show in their parking lot. Well, I don’t have an old car but I looked in the garage to see If there might be something interesting there.
Warren left his 2007 Honda S2K parked in my garage and moved to Korea. Well, finders keepers, I think I will take the car to the carshow.
And Lookie Here, third place for best foreign car!
Trusses were scheduled for a 1:30 delivery. At 2:30 the crane shows up and at 3:45 the trusses actually showed up. Apparently they were still being made at the time they were scheduled to be delivered.
I wonder if the neighbor knows what is hanging over his house?
Today’s activity was with a much smaller crew. Only 5 guys.
The activities included plumbing the walls straight and holding them in place with temporary bracing so they don’t move when the roof is put on.
Then sheathing is added to the exterior walls and some interior walls for rigidity and a nail base for the siding.
So, the day after the floor was poured, the lumber showed up.
So tomorrow morning, we get started framing.
But WAIT ! 15 minutes after the lumber showed up, the framers arrived. It’s 4 PM and they are starting early! They are supposed to start tomorrow!
